Enterprise Software Selection and Implementation

Selecting a new business software package (ERP, SCM, CRM, etc.) could be one of the most critical projects you will ever work on in your business career. So much is at stake in the final decision process and the implementation once a vendor is selected. Let Sisterson guide you through this difficult process.

The Sisterson Technology Group has the experience to help you select the best system to meet your business needs. Our methodology includes the following steps:

  • Identify your needs and create a list of weighted functional requirements.
  • Identify vendors that may meet your needs and prepare a contact list.
  • Create a Request for Proposal (RFP) to be sent to these vendors for response. The RFP will also include questions to determine the vendor's financial viability and other critical response sections such as number of install base, client list, systems platforms, programming tools, a training methodology, implementation methodology including a sample plan, etc.
  • Create a scoring system before reviewing responses and use it to identify the top two or three vendor candidates.
  • Schedule on-site demonstrations and provide a demonstration script to the vendor to view the software using your information.
  • Thorough reference checking to determine the vendor's capabilities on a number of issues that include software upgrades, support responsiveness, functionality, ease of use, overall user satisfaction, etc.

Let Sisterson guide you through this selection and implementation process as a Project Manager or Quality Control consultant.
