Tax Manager
  • 8-10 years public accounting experience with concentration in tax compliance (review of C corp, S corp, Partnerships/LLCs, complex individuals and trusts, foundations and not-for-profits)
  • Trust knowledge and experience in the following areas:
    • Fiduciary income tax returns (Forms 1041) for simple as well as complex trusts that make distributions (required and/or discretionary), including CLATs (Charitable Lead Annuity Trusts); CRUTs (Charitable Remainder Unitrusts); Grantor trusts, including intentionally defective grantor trusts, crummy trusts, GRATs (Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts); QSSTs; ESBTs
    • Split-Interest Trust Returns (Forms 5227)
    • Trusts with complex issues (e.g., Receive K-1s from partnerships, such as investment partnerships, PTPS and hedge funds; Investment interest limitations; Passive activity losses)
    • Calculating fiduciary accounting income
  • Solid tax research skills
  • Experience evaluating and mentoring staff
  • Ability to schedule and monitor multiple jobs and staff members, as well as to monitor work in process and perform billing analysis
  • Great communication skills as you may communicate often with clients and maintain client relationships
  • Must have either CPA, Masters in Taxation or law degree
Audit Senior
Sisterson & Co. LLP is seeking qualified candidates to join our Audit team. 
  • Public accounting firm audit experience (3+ years)
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Excellent technical and project management skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Tax Staff Associate
Sisterson & Co. LLP is seeking qualified candidates to join our Tax team. 
  • Public accounting firm tax experience (1+ year)
  • Excellent technical and project management skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism to provide excellent customer service to clients
  • CPA not required

General Associate
 (summer 2022 start)
  • Senior graduating in December 2021 or May 2022
  • GPA 3.0 or higher 
  • Accounting Major
  • Not required to have 150 credits 
Internship Program
We are no longer accepting applications for summer 2022 internships.
This 8-week program will provide hands-on learning on client engagements with direct supervision from members of the engagement team. Interns will have the opportunity to work on both audit and tax engagements. 
  • Accounting or Finance Major
  • Planning to graduate in 2022 or 2023 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
